STURBRIDGE

Sturbridge is a beautiful, quaint town located in Central Massachusetts.  It's known for its historic charm featuring places like Old Sturbridge Village and The Publick House.

What is the community like? The Sturbridge community is one that is rich in history.  You will find no shortage of dining, shops, and attractions with great access to all major routes.  Antique lovers enjoy taking day trips out to browse the local antique shops.  Just next door, in Brimfield, we have a world-famous antique market three times per year that brings many to the area. 

What are the schools like? Part of the Tantasqua Union 61 School District, Sturbridge Public Schools have been highly sought after.  They are rich with academics, feature a strong athletics program as well as a great music & arts program ranging from marching band to show choir. 

Burgess Elementary School has been expanded and updated in the near past.  It has an amazing playground for the children to run around and exert some energy. 

The Tantasqua Junior High School is home to 7th and 8th-grade students coming from the towns of Brimfield, Brookfield, Sturbridge, Holland, and Wales.

The Tantasqua Senior High School is well known for its academics & sports achievements.  They have well-maintained sports fields, an indoor pool that's also available to rent to the public for private events such as birthday parties, and also have a culinary spotlight with their cafe. 

The businesses around the Sturbridge Community
There are many businesses around Sturbridge.  Some of my favorites include Whoopie-doo & Cupcakes too for some of the BEST baked goods around, Sturbridge Porterhouse for an amazing steak, Cedar Street Grill for a fine dining dinner experience, and Cedar Street Cafe featuring amazing breakfast & lunch items.  Sturbridge is home to several grocery stores including my personal fave, Micknuck's Fresh Marketplace, Shaws and Stop & Shop.  

Boston Commute Times
One of the most attractive parts of Sturbridge is it's easy to access the big city for commuters.  With route 20, Interstate 84 & Interstate 90, you are only 45-60 minutes away from the city during most times of the day.  This makes Sturbridge such a wonderful place to live, with affordable homes, in great locations.
